Although having a sweet in your mouth can make lipreading hard, on this ocassion I was fine with that as he had it in his cheek. But I needed him to look at me. Straight away, as he started to speak, I tapped on my notes he was looking at, and said hold on a minute. Please look at me when you speak so i can lipread you. I am deaf you know.<br /><br />He looked up at me, and said sorry and spoke to me all the time after that. Even on next appointments.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
